Chelsea Skye is a Canadian based ecological artist. She is known for her enchanting narrative artwork that explores the intersection of the physical and mystical realms. Her art often features dreamlike landscapes, ethereal creatures, and abstract symbols that invite the viewer to step into a world just beyond normal perception.

Skye's artwork is deeply rooted in her inner spiritual world and her connection to nature. She believes that art can be a powerful tool for healing, transformation, and self-discovery. Her pieces are designed to transport the viewer to a realm where the boundaries between the physical and mystical dissolve.

Some of her notable works include collaborations with brands and artists like Hot Topic, Penguin Random House, Whole Foods, Trevor Hall and Nature Backs. She is also working on her first oracle deck, ‘The Inner Knowing Oracle Deck’, which is designed to help users tap into their inner wisdom and intuition.

When I create, I am seeking the beauty at the root of all that is. I am searching for glimpses of truth among the multifaceted and ever-shifting mystery of life.

I am a full time artist and poet residing in Western Canada. Much of my inspiration is drawn from my awe of natural life and landscape and my imaginings of soul and cosmos.

I believe art gives voice to the mystical within the mundane, and I create in an attempt to translate those whispers (or shouts) that arise like sudden clarity during those every day human moments.

I approach the creative process as a space where earth and spirit can collaborate. I believe making art is an inherently intuitive act and when we allow and trust what wants to be created through us, we are given exactly what we need.

I live life through the lens of strong (and often overwhelming) emotion and it is from this space that much of my art is birthed; in seeking to share my experience and the feelings that flow in, and striving to explain the unexplainable things.

Much of my art is made as a testament to my own emotional landscape and my wondering after the unknowable.

My creating is often a by-product of my attempt to make sense of life and the river of feeling flowing through it all, akin to a student’s feverish scratched notes as they try to understand and get nearer to the source of truth within the mystery.

It is from this deeply personal space that much of my art and poetry is birthed; in seeking to share my experience and the feelings that flood in, and striving to create a physical representation of that which is beyond adequate explanation.

Art is also a tool for my mental wellness. Creating soothes me and takes me out of stasis when the world around me feels like it is broken and chaotic.

In its own symbolic language, my art often asks the most human of questions: are you feeling this too? Do you hear me?

Much of my art is also a love note to nature. With the intention to amplify the voice of Earth + remind us of our connection to the natural world. In that connection we can all find home and healing.
